It may have been mentioned before, but we are aware of the issue with sessions timing out quickly and are investigating for a resolution.

It always seems to work for about 1 min before it logs you out.
- Lifetime is set to 1 min on servers?
- Different servers doesn’t recognize each others keys? (missing sync, or shared secret)
- AWS edge caching is getting in the way?
I have no this issue BTW.

These are all from 1 page refresh. Two of them are POST, one is an image. Doesn’t look right.
Time out issue seems to be solved.
Just stayed on a new post for like 10 minutes and nothing went wrong.

It’s really obnoxious to click a thread and get taken to the first page by default.
The forum is running smoother now however one thing I have noticed is it always says I have message and it’s a notice to a reply. It at first let me just click it cause it would have a link to the latest after mine now I have to go to the Subscription section and it doesn’t clear it. Least the “Logging out” “Logging in” issue is gone.
Are the broken links going to be fixed? Any preexisting link to the forum just doesn’t work anymore.
Thread Search seems to only search the 1 page of the thread your on currently on now.
Resorting to doing this on google to search threads for now.

Forum Search is working now, thanks.
It’s still a little hard to find the threads that have new replys because there’s no distinction between read and unread threads.
Also the inclusion of chunks of posts instead of thread titles only, makes it even worse to to find anything.
If possible, please make the displaying of posts under the thread title optional and add something that makes threads with unread posts distinctable from the ones that have no new unread posts.
(e.g. by bold/regular font like in the old forums or by color or icon)

I still see new posts AFTER this update that people can’t see signatures by default, here is an example
Is it possible to increase the number of topics shown per page? I’d like such an option. It seems to be 10 now? that’s way too few, on busy days new topics will be pushed out of first page in hours in some sub-forums or whatever it’s called.
I can’t seem to add pictures to a post. I get an error with I try to post with attachments.

to be honest, i find the forum software useless now, i always used to come here and click on the recent posts to see which threads have been updated/commented since my last visit, tbh i can’t be bothered to check every section.

**kraid**By default threads with unread posts have BLUE icon and they are in BOLD, while read ones have WHITE icon. You could click “New Topics” on the top it would show You only unead topics, You could modify search words there as well. In Advanced Search, View [Topics] would shw only topic titles, and not posts.

I know that, but I’m talking about other users. said it was re-enabled, but if this re-enabling requires manual re-enabling again majority of users will never see any signature
zeOrb I see your concern here. Self promotion etc. I don’t like the sinatures myself, they’re look ugly, some people don’t even have modesty. But if forum setting showing they are enabled, and they are don’t - that’s the issue that should be fixed.

Here is what happens when I try to upload photos. The upload goes fine, but filedata/fetch gets a 404 back.
I can only post photos by uploading to imgur and add here and uncheck “retrieve locally”.
