I actually have a css for all web pages that turns them inverse (with some exception to the images, videos etc) to ease on my eyes. Very foolish idea to make webpages white. It’s like as if a torch lighting to the eye, but why? Never figured this idea out, but apparently many people prefer to burn their eyes! Good!
Worst design is the history of 800million dollar company designs, maybe ever.

and of course instead of test it on a local copy of the forum, they push into production and deploy on live.
I guess you haven’t seen unity’s attempt to “upgrade” their forum a year ago or so? Though they quickly realized what they had done and rolled back.
Not sure why anyone would want to use this forum software anyways, xenforo 2 is better in every way.
@DropMotion Epic uses vBulletin. Crytek - phpBB.
Also, Crytek didn’t migrated old posts to new forums. Their theme called Ravaio (could be purchased here).
Yet. I’m very disappointed how thngs are now. I’ve been working with forums since the end of 90s. Deployed, updated, migrated. It’s not so hard to do. Epic probably should hire someone to do that job.
Still, everything could be fixed with necessary amount of work.
Other fixes are still underway, and we are currently performing a reindexing to fix search results, this is likely to take a few hours (NOTE: during reindexing, the site will load slower and there is an increased likelihood of server error messages)
I tried to search this thread for a key phrase but that feature doesn’t seem to be working so chalk that up as my first issue in this reply: Search through a thread results in a forum wide search: http://i.imgur.com/1xnoFf8.jpg
My biggest complaint right now is that the forum logs me out every 1-2 minutes, most times I do not have enough time to type a reply before I am logged out and when I hit post reply it takes me to an error page (http://i.imgur.com/TdAk7tV.jpg) . so this is me telling you about the problem as instructed by the error page
