Can someone from Epic please check my account? It’s been over a day now and I still see this error message when I log into FAB. I’ve tried logging out of all logins through the Epic account page, but when I log back in, the issue persists.
I previously had an Epic account where I accidentally enabled the Unreal Unlimited license while using Quixel Bridge, since it would always popup when I’d open Quixel Bridge. When FAB launched, I wanted to start fresh with a new account without any other licenses attached, since I don’t use Unreal Engine at all. I deleted the old account, and then made a new one with the same email, and since then I can’t access FAB at all. I also noticed that when signing into the Quixel after linking it with my new Epic account, it still shows me that I’ve got the Unreal Unlimited licenses and all the previous purchases.
I would greatly appreciate it if this current account can be purged of all previous data. I’d like to remove my Quixel account, because I believe it’s still linked to this new Epic account as the old one, which is what’s causing the error when trying to access FAB.
hi @OcularEvolution and @philosofical-cat , thank you for reporting this. It’s a bug that we believe to be fixed by now for most users, can you please try clearing your cache and then trying to login again? If this doesn’t help please let me know, thanks!
Hi, the problem is still there. I’ve tried logging in again in Chrome, Safari and Edge on a different computer, after deleting all history and I still get that "Opps! Something went wrong… " screen. Please sign-in to my account and have a look yourself.
Hi friend! You need to update your browser version! The new mall FAB requires a new version of the browser to load. I also encountered this problem and solved it by updating the browser.
My Chrome is up to date. So were Safari and Edge when I tried it with them. Browsing through the entire site works fine, the only issue is logging in. I just want someone from Epic/FAB to sign-in to my account and take a look themselves. I still believe the problem is with this new account still being tied to my old Quixel account. I still believe purging all data from this account by Epic might be the solution.
@skfabby I still can’t access FAB. I still see the " Oops! Something went wrong…" screen every time I log in. I’ve detailed what I believe is the reason for the issue above. I need someone from Epic to log in to my account and see for it themselves.
Thank you @skfabby, I really appreciate this. For the past 3 weeks I’ve not been able to use any Quixel assets at all and it’s affecting my work as well. If the solution is to delete my account and recreate it, I’m willing to do that as well. As a reminder, please note that the email used in my current Epic account is still linked to Quixel, which used the same email but on a previous Epic account. This, I believe is the reason behind the issue.
I’ve already contacted FAB support twice and haven’t received a response.
Hi @skfabby, it’s been almost a week now since your last reply. I haven’t received a response through Fab Support either. I don’t understand how this could take so long. I just need someone to reset my account and purge it off all previous data, or if it’s not possible, to completely delete all data + my account, so I can recreate it using the same email. I use Quixel assets a lot in my work, and not being able to use them is affecting my work. Please look into this as soon as possible. Thank you.
