It seems like if you just wait long enough, the editor eventually comes back. The first few times I saw this I force quit the editor and relaunched. Then I decided to wait it out, and after about 15 minutes the editor came back and I could view the memory test results log. It kind of seems like a synchronous operation that’s blocking all other editor operations, and thereby causing the editor/game client disconnect.
I know how to get the logs but you cannot share on here due to the ridiculous 20mb limit on this forum hence asking “What’s your discord to send logs ?”
I can send via Discord as i have nitro and can send upto 500mb the logs even compressed are 120mb
Ok, I tested and mine actually did free up from being frozen after 6min. I never let it go that long before force closing so this definitely worked for me.
