Target Dummy Tracks and Target Dummy cause constant errors and stop working erratically
Steps to Reproduce
Add a few target dummy tracks to map. Run test session. End session. Repeat and save project often. Eventually you will get errors every time you save or try to push a new session. Also, when they do work in a session they will eventually stop working randomly in some future sessions.
Expected Result
Placed devices should work as expected and not cause errors.
Observed Result
Will get constant: âIllegal property modification: Property value differs from defaultâ errors for all or most Target dummy Tracks and also Target Dummy devices. Also, the Target Dummy Tracks will not let the player knock them down in random sessions - this occurs when no changes were made to them.
Yes, This only applies to the âTarget Dummy Trackâ devices.
At some point during a new session the player will not be able to knock down the targets any more. This occurs when no changes are made to the player or the target settings.
The âTarget Dummy Trackâ devices move and look as expected, they just can not be knocked down. The âTarget Dummyâ devices donât stop working.
If I disconnect uefn from FN and close out uefn and reopen the project and then open a new session targets behave as normal for that first session anyway.
Still having this exact issue. In fact, after deleting the target dummies throwing the errors, I was left with random character references in my editor which I could not simply delete. I had to check everything into revision control, compile my editor, and only after receiving the error message was I able to finally delete these random character references that were still attached to already deleted target dummies.
Furthermore, I added 5 new target dummies and didnât do anything to them and was immediately greeted by the Illegal Property Modification shown above.
Can you please keep working to fix this error as this minigame is a considerable part of the progress of my island.
