[SUPPORT] CAMERA 360 System

Use 360 Mono (use 1 camera)
There are black borders on the top and bottom of the rendered picture, which causes me to have a black video. How can I solve it?

Hi!
You image need 2:1, example 8000x4000. You image i think example 8000x4400.
If you have done the rendering, you can fix it in the video - image editor, just change the image size to 2:1.
I recomended using Projection 360 (Use 6 cam) max limit quality 8192, in projection (360 Use 1 cam) max limit quality = 2048 px, if need more, need recompile source engine.

How can I change it to 8000x4400 in the editor? I checked 2:1, and the pixel can only be 8000x4000

Hi!
Very strange, please send original ouput image for me - email .
Have you checked the image using another 360 player? VLC Player ?

The picture has been sent to your email. If not, please let me know.

Hi!
I checked, everything is correct. 360 is displayed correctly. There are no black lines.

Try it, turn it into a video and upload it to YouTube and you will see what is displayed correctly.
I think your player displays the image in aspect ratio 16:9, adding black bars. Maybe there are any settings there?
Try changing your image resolution to 7680x4320 and check on this player.

I still can’t understand that you can still see the black edge when running in the editor.

In addition, what is the role of image size?

When you launch the editor window, you will have it displayed like this, since the aspect ratio when launching the editor window is not 2:1.

But if you change the size to a 2:1 ratio, the stripes disappear.

The stripes also disappear when rendering 2:1 images using a sequencer or motion render.

Hi!

I have a very silly question -
in the jpeg 360 mono (6 cameras) system, the quality option scale is between 2 and 6 - what is the highest quality, 2 or 6?
And what is the difference in the quality? I tried exporting in both and I can’t really tell any difference in the files sizes or in the viewing experience.

Thank you and happy new year! :-----)

Happy New Year!
This is a good question
0, 2, 4 - for TAA
please look quality example

0,2,4,6 - for MSAA and FXAA
You can choose the smoothing mode in the project settings.

For anti-aliasing try this solution

Thank you for your quick reply!

I’m sorry but I’m a newbie so I don’t really understand… what are TAA/MSAA/FXAA?

Hi,
Happy New Year!
As you answered the last question, I’m using Raytracing Reflection.
We applied Material that has some waves and reflects Object and Particle.
But there was a problem.
You can see the reflection well in the basic camera, With Camera360, objects close to Particle and Plane are not reflected.
Is there a solution?
