My issue is with scene capture cube components, but I think that might rely on the same functionality as a screen shots. In the linked video, you can see the problem: GrassCaptureProblem - YouTube
I use scene capture cube components on sphere meshes. When they try to capture grass, it only shows a fraction of the objects that it should capture. In the video, you can see the preview of the world and then the world when the player is transported there.
It looks like the fix was closed in September, though maybe it was never tested on Scene Capture Components?
