That is such a slap in the face that they are seriously out here making thousands of dollars. I think it is time some of that goes back into the creator pool. Thank you for tracking these.

Its been over a month and i feel like these people are getting away with it tbh and no doubt epic will be sending them the money. Before long they will tell their friends and itll spread.

This is EpicGames new game mode not even out yet
They have copied the thumbnail added and description
The description is a 1:1 copy from EpicGames website
The game is only a FFA mode with bots and they are using Epics description and thumbnail to try and trick players into joining also its a tilted towers map. Looking at the creators other maps it could be numerous violations with this one also its not first person

Well that didnāt take long. People are crazy for that one. I see they already have Ranked Ballistic too lol. If it is like the Zero-Build trend, then I think they will start getting disabled for having the graphic with there font in it soon.

How is it fair that these people are out here making 10K a month and breaking the rules? They are stealing plays from everyone.

The crazy thing is even as a honest creator if you get on discovery you will never stay or get good numbers as the scam people are always getting people through the scam videos
It does make me think long and hard about setting up new accounts and doing what they are doing as lets be honest whatās the actual worst thing that can happen???
This forum has shown loads and they are still on discovery getting money and taking players/spots from honest creators.
The big creators ie TG geerzy and others can have things on their maps like xp icons battlepass icons ect and nothing is done. I feel if you have a ton of players epic looks the other way tbh and its wrong like every creator big or small should be held accountable for not following the rules

I noticed some of the larger creators still have social links in the top left even though we have the Profile Device now. I donāt know what to do anymore, Itās getting impossible to get plays without going over the top with the rules but I donāt consider that an option. I just hope it will change eventually and those maps will stop.

This is good news, So they are starting to strike videos that are marketing maps based on XP?
I think so its abit hit and miss when you read the comments

1.5 Epic, in its sole discretion, can revoke your permission to create Fan Content at any time and for any reason.
They could do so much just by hiring like 5 people whos sole job is to search high and low for these vids ect and get them removed.
TBH they could probs make a deal with the social media giants and AI would probs do it now adays

Reading the comments by the people they are acting like victims but what about the thousands of young people who have gone to their map waited 45 minutes and got nothing its them i feel sorry for and the countless honest creators that have to deal with this

I guess it has taken this long because like others said how can you really prove 100% someone who created the map created the vid (Although I think we both agree that they did / Had someone else do it). Leveraging the Copyright of the XP icons is actually a win and Iām happy to see it. I hope what you said does come to to happen with AI searching for these and issuing strikes. At least for anyone using them in thumbnails or maliciously and not for it showing up for a split second when someone plays a game or streams for example haha.
I think if on any map they is any mention of xp it should be flagged to the moderator and they can check on the map on the device or whatever and if its associated with xp exploits they should get 1 x warning after that instant ban imo. Iām sure epic can load a map up and have a look about ect after all its their map they own every map so i assume they could and tbh i donāt think honest creators would mine 1 bit i think it would separate the honest from the dirty creators.
I also think they need to get tough on the big map creators as well. We all heard about the pit fiasco and more recently Iāve seen numerous big maps with xp icons ect and i think imo epic turns a blind eye because they have a lot of players but thatās not right. The rules are for all creators not just creators who have less than 20k ccu
That being said
This is the best news Iāve seen in a long time and tbh when you read the comments the amount of people who feel the same was mind blowing it truly was.
I think this is a great first step to get the ecosystem back to how it was before all this dirty tactic systems.
