Although i cannot confirm when all this video started. As you can see the map has gone crazy popular. Is it because its the map ??? I think it could be the abusive Social Media myself

they dont care, they never deal with stuff. Constant abuse. I have reported obvious scam maps over and over saying they give free vbucks and skins and a few hours later I check the report and it says âno action takenâ. Its a joke. Discovery is becoming a cesspool of scam maps. SO maybe instead of fighting it, I should join them. Epic doesnt seem to care, so why should i or you?
I see people breaking the rules really every single day on social media now. Many scam live streams and scam xp map advertises but also the # fortnite hashtag, which is forbidden to be used according to the island creator rules.
It really feels like there are no consequences for those who break the rules constantly, but I just hope that epic will eventually do something about that.
Keep up hopes, trustworthy island creators, long lasting success wonât come from scammers and fakes but from hard work, ingenuity and real game dev craftsmanship.

Someone at Epic must be flicking through Social Media and notice some of this stuff.
If it were my decision i would erase the criminals maps⌠All of them. Send an email stating if they are involved with anything like it again then their ip address would be banned from using any of Epics services.
It wouldnât take many crims to get banned before word spread that Epic takes this stuff seriously
Lol that is great, I did see the KFC one. Unfortunately I donât think these companies are seeing these or else they would probably do something about it. (Or maybe not? As it is free advertising for them). I can absouletly see RockStar getting upset about it though.
This is how these creators are having a huge impact on discovery.
People think they have to wait on the map to get the xp ect so the Algorithm thinks its popular yet the only reason is because of these fake videos and people mainly young people are getting roped into this charade
Its wrong and honest creators are paying the price

I get Epic wanting to get players and people onto the game but this is just against everything that Epic stands for
You cannot mention XP gain in a map ect but a full tiktok/yt ect showing it and then players swarming to the map thinking its legit then the creator gets paid huge amounts of money for a absolutely disgusting tactic that makes me sick
You can make 1000 more posts about this type of âpromotionâ, but in those posts you donât provide any proof that this content was created by the creators of these maps.
This problem cannot be solved. If Epic will start takes action and bans every map with this type of promo - someone will easily blackmail a random island and ban their ICP.
I donât think someone would go out of their way to promote someone elseâs map
Unless they are kind hearted individuals that donât care about money and the promoted persons maps were just random but then why create a video like that in the first place ??? If not for personal gain
