I noticed in the early days of UEFN that moderation would reject Rap/Hip-Hop music within seconds of submission for publishing, at one point I even uploaded instrumentals and they would also get rejected by moderation for “lyrics”. After well over a year of being forced to discriminate by Epics moderation we finally had a client call us out on it. We then got FNCreate’s attention on twitter and they said they “fixed it”.
Now we can not load launch the session from UEFN to Fortnite to run Memory Calculations, can’t load into a private session with the island code, and can load into a test server without it getting stuck at 3%. Yeah, they “fixed it” alright.
Could you please remove some of the larger assets from your island and try again? We believe it may be a memory limit issue, and removing some assets should help.
Our team is investigating this tech issue and the accompanying server logs to see why the island is failing to load. We’ll follow up when we have more info
@Flak you don’t think it could be stuck in moderation seeing it does not have the tag Appeal Reviewed like all of the other overturned ones in the appeal section? It could have some assets still flagged and disconnecting because of it.
Is there any word on resolving this? I have 2 investors and over 20 clients looking at me for answers along with the original client who brought up the discriminatory moderation against their music. I need to tell them something seeing they all paid for the development of this game and my company does not have the funds to pay them back when they eventually begin asking for the money back.
After investigating, we found there are separate issues. The network connection issue is caused by the island spawning too many actors at once. You can either spawn fewer actors or avoid spawning them all at the same time to resolve this.
The previous audio violations are unrelated and have been confirmed as removed. You have two new violations on your island that need to be addressed and/or appealed.
