Ok, I’ll remove the apartment customization system and give it a try, that is the bulk of the Island as far as devices.
We removed everything we added all the way back to the version that published just fine and we are still getting disconnection errors. There is nothing more in this Island then the version that was published before your guys pulled it. This is absurd, we get Error 1 sometimes, sometimes it’s error 2 and sometimes it just disconnects with no error once we are in the Island, sometimes it disconnects in the lobby. There is no consistency to any of the errors, I did appeal the last rejections, that may be stopping it from connecting?
AND they are still upholding rejections for this?!?!?! What is going on down there??? Show me where we are breaking this rule. Does this issue look fixed? Did you guys fix the discrimination against music by just making violations up at this point?
So we have completely rolled back to the last functioning version and it is still disconnecting and moderation is still upholding rejections but is now flagging our purchasing UI’s as “Encouraging Creating” now. I don’t know what is going on but this is now day 7 past the deadline for this update and the clients in the list above are starting to reach out and I have no answers for them. We are well below the memory limits and are actually back to the version of the Island that WAS working just fine before the whole music discrimination issue that began this.
If you believe a mistake was made during moderation, you can appeal it here.
Separately, we’re trying to help solve your technical issue and will continue investigating.
So we appealed it before and it was overturned and approved, moderation flagged it again and we appealed it but this time they upheld the flagging stating we were encouraging cheating now. We can not appeal it anymore.
Hi @TheMayorOfMeta,
Thank you for your patience while the team continued to investigate your technical issue. After robust testing we weren’t able to reproduce the connection error you’re reporting.
After a deep look at your island, we do have some ideas at what could be causing it.
We found a hitch while the actors were loading, and noticed that there are still around 18,000 actors on the island. There are also around 200 PopUp Dialogs and nearly 100 Timers and Switches. These contain many subobjects that can bloat the network object list.
We suggest reducing the number of actors and Popup Dialogs. Hopefully, this will clear up the network connection issue you’re experiencing.
We did get into the Island but it looks like moderation is now auto rejecting every release for 1.9 Play by the Rules accusing us of promoting cheating now. We are NOT promoting cheating and feel we are being targeted because we called them out for discrimination.
We see that you were able to solve the technical issue and are able to publish. This is great news, and I’ll be closing out this thread as a result.
