Is it possible for Lit materials to not receive shadows?

I just switched from Unity to Unreal and am learning the basics.
I imported an NPR character into Unreal and found that if the character’s face receives shadows, then the shadows will look dirty, see below.

This is the character’s face with Directional Light’s cast shadow turned off, and it is exactly what I expect, see below.

I’m wondering if there is any way to keep cast shadow on while only having the character face not receive shadows by adjusting the material or some other way?

Using the Unlit material might be an option, but I’d like to use the Lit material in order to make the face look consistent with its surroundings.
