Height Fog start distance not working (bug ?) UE5

Hey, the height fog start distance seems to be broken in multiple of our projects. It seems to work once or twice when you remove the height fog and create a new one, but as soon as we closes and open up the project it has no effect.
I have tried to play with multiple settings, including changing the number from very small to very high and the fog doesn’t move an inch, as well as playing around with the fog parameters to see if anything was creating conflict. It’s pretty frustating

Is it something on my end or it’s just not working ? thanks

I’m having a similar issue with fog start distance not reaching player, but only on certain landscapes. Here I’m on a mountain landscape, and there is circular zone around the player where the fog will not penetrate. Volumetric on/off makes no difference. If you zoom really far out, you can see there is a large grey square that places a shadow over the player. I’m at a complete loss.
