Update 1:
Seems like i found part of the Problem. If i rotate the waves through the custom rotator in the gersnter wave i do get the cracks between the spline meshes. Still dont know how to get rid of it though…
I created a decent river, using the “procedural nature pack 1” river spline. I now try to add some gerstner waves into it.
The gerstner waves are from the community ocean plugin, but moved from worldspace into local space, so the waves actually follow the river direction.
Color are only Constant3Vector’s
My Problem is that between the spline meshes i do get holes, because the waves aren’t in sync.
I already tryed to:
-merge the splines into one mesh with UE4 merge actors
-move the dissplacement of the gerstner wave with a panner, time fixed at +0,5 and -0,5, then lerped between both at the edges (kinda make a seemless texture)
-mirror/rotate the dissplacement of the gerstner wave
Out of ideas with this one…
