Haa… !! I’m originally from Colorado sure do miss that place glad you could see the influence

Same here, was just there in April on a House hunting trip. Nothing quite like the air there at altitude, everything is more crisp. I’ve been focusing on just learning blueprint instead of art, but your work sure makes me want to break out World Machine myself.

**** looking really realistic good job!

Absolutely gorgeous, great job!

Wow , that looks great! Looking forward to the next update!

yeah is not the first try of the guy , here earlier work by him that I totally fell in love

the first image still shocking me

@RyanWatkins :

  • please consider doing some sort of tutorials, videos if possible, it would be piece in the UE4 documentation

  • do you have an idea if it’s possible to make a very large terrain (maybe with streaming) with visual quality

anyway very very god job ! well done !

A lot of the mountain range reminds me of Rust…

Yep defiantly not my first try at  I’m sure you can make even larger terrain they defiantly would need to be streaming in some sort of way thou. I’m already running into some performance hits with . I’m working right now on getting the frame rate back up ( creating LOD’s and such) but any thing is possible

I am think about make a tutorial on landscape creation for games. probably not until winter thou my summer is really busy and I don’t want to spend it all in front of the computer

And thanks again for all the wonderful responses can’t wait to show some more

Nice. All I need now is a Bell UH-1 simulation to fly in that landscape.

My mind is officially blown, Red Viper style!
(given the setting presents mountains, it fits!)

Love it, you rock  . Breakdown would be nice if you have time.

I approve of pun!
And I aslo agree, a breakdown would be nice!

Question, how would you do set a landscape like that, if you don’t have that World-thing software?

absolutely stunning, the rocks looks so real!

Looks stunning, congrats!

Is that a glacier?

If not, it should be

Hey , amazing work here! Looking forward to chat with you via skype :))

Have a great vacation!

Hey , thanks again for all the great feed back!!! I’m heading off the Iceland to be inspired, relax and get away from it all. So I won’t be updating or answering emails for a while.

Yes it is  have big planes for some glaciers and ice

Hey getting back into thing again after my little vacation. Its great to get back and be so inspired to start working again.
is more of a skybox but some of the assets are going to be used in playable environment space.

Looks pretty badass

The last one looks a bit flat without depth. The clouds seem to be way back (that’s EPIC’s own implementation though) and the bush/grass doesn’t seem to have shadows. I like the mountains and the fog though.

Each screenshot looks better and better. I really thought I was looking into a real world photo. Great work! Loving the fog rolling off of the mountain as well.

Really nice what youre doing  congrats
