I love that latest one - the mountain in the distance is really looking.

Beautiful. Just beautiful. Wonderful job .

Hey getting back into thing again after my little vacation. Its great to get back and be so inspired to start working again.
is more of a skybox but some of the assets are going to be used in playable environment space.

You seriously need to add some small towns / cities and turn into a DayZ/H1Z1 style game. Sorry but that landscape is just absolutely gorgeous and I would have more fun just exploring the world then I would killing me some bandits haha! Bravo!!!

, can you please explain how you got the scale that you did? I understand you started with a 4k terrain, but you lost me after that. Also, how did you make the skybox?

Impressive work man !

Very nice! =)

Would you consider having my man-babies?

The last one looks a bit flat without depth. The clouds seem to be way back (that’s EPIC’s own implementation though) and the bush/grass doesn’t seem to have shadows. I like the mountains and the fog though.

Hey thanks for the great critique. I agree with you about the depth a clouds it really has flattened out and the cloud aren’t sitting in the environment very well yet. Definitely bugging the grass it needs a lot shader work. Holding out until speedtree is released to use that for my vegetation.

Too bad you are too busy right now. Nice works!

Hey , The scale is a bit of an illusion. Its more about having the right atmosphere and fog and understanding how large objects like mountains should look at distance. It take some practice and experimentation.
Clouds are just a photo I took a placed on a card, real simple

Testing Speedtree, so far really impressed with how well it integrates into unreal. I’m having a small with the lighting on the grass getting broken when taking a high res screen shot though. The grass lights just fine right before using the screen shot tool but when I take the screen shot the shadow break.

Very nice, why don’t you just use screen grab rather than the ScreenShot tool if it’s breaking your shadows?

Very cool!

Wow, these pictures look really amazing!
work, dude.

Absolutely beautiful!

Man, that scene looks ! Adding the SpeedTree samples really make that scene look amazing.

Wow

looks great. The map scale looks grand! I want to jump in there and start running around. The vegetation looks pretty good too.

Superb work here ! My hat off to your Sir!

Wow, great work! a touch of photorealism, had to look twice at some of those pictures.
Ony the speedtree trees could need a few more polygons.

Hey just wondering if you could tell us a bit about the process you used to create the trees in speedtree with perhaps? Currently playing around with ST modeler atm but my trees don’t look by far as well as yours, perhaps there are some tricks you could share?
