Critical: High Ping and Lag With Maps That Have Larger Areas To Play In

been waiting for months for this fix on servers,the servers were so good in Fortnite OG and before that

We’re still digging in here, folks, and hope to have some more news soon. We’re working to get this resolved ASAP.

this issue is very similar to this:

if maybe you can make the servers back they were in Fortnite OG ,it would fix everything !

just make the servers same as they were in Fortnite OG and it will fix this issue including the ranked delay issue

Why is this still not fixed. I’m so tired of the ping fluctuating and having high ping everyday.

Every map, including BR has had a core issue with gameplay stutter/rubberbanding, it ties back to when the new locomotion was introduced. I’m not saying that is what caused this issue but it absolutely exaggerated it. I have a feeling it’s a server-side issue and not map-specific or platform specific.

@Flak Any updates on this from the team yet? :slight_smile: Hopefully, they can find a fix as this bug is especially important for more complex and big maps

It got fixed for us, we used to have huge lags and now we have big lags only :smiley:

Late to the party but is this still an issue? I assume so because there hasn’t been a response from flak in this forum saying so. Our larger scale maps have some stuttering and lag issues and I assume it derives from this
