I checked with an other staff member, so hopefully thatll give more answers. But for now, we just need to hope
Just saw this post about collecting publishing error data, maybe a fix is coming?
i already reply with a solution mate!
Hiii cutties :3 ahhaha sorry , i had the same issue this morning i solved it, there are 2 main issues to solve, its not a bug :
1 issue- the image is on gray and not loading ( dont mind that the real problem is that you need to launch the memory calculation on the uefn project while the session is connected to fornite its say that i solved it by making that .
steps
in the project panel on the website of create.fortnite.com go to your project versions and make sure its not marked as a warning
like this, if is on yellow its required that you need to launch another version of the project in uefn, the hit launch session till it say session connected and then go to project > launch memory calculation / it will take a few minutes after thar reload the website and your project version gonna be marked as valid now you can publish the project without problem even if the image bar dont load the publish button will work
2 issue- if you have done the step before and when publishing you get an image popup tha say you need to be affiliate, its cause you need to be on the creator program for that.
Actually the creator program is closed, but theres a solution, you can contact any friend or user maybe in discord that has the creator program affiliate and then add him to your project team as publisher, now he can publish the project for you!
if any of you want help you can contact me by discord , user !Diosito#5845

Same problem here

It does look to be related to not being part of the " Support-A-Creator" program, which Joe Average isn’t going to be eligible for. Is there an indication that they are going to fix this, or is it going to be locked down so only ‘creators’ can publish maps?
I’ve done everything, title, image, memory-check etc. but I haven’t signed up for the program, it says that I have to play creative for 21 days out of the 90 days and the fact is that I haven’t played fortnite or any games (personal reasons) since December and that is just after the 90 days which sucks The fact is that I used to edit my islands and maps all the time but that is just over 90 days ago
I meet the requirements, I’ve been actively using creative 1.0 since it has been out back in 2018. Like the restof you I cannot publish any of my islands. I applied for the Creator Program and now my error is a little different
My error: (Affiliate is ineligible for publishing projects, fnpublishing: OFF) I have a supportCode not sure why I can’t publish.
CRITICAL Cannot update version:
Submitted private codes do not show up in the public releases tab. Meaning that we can’t activate them and put them live… Massive issue as we can’t publish an update. Has been like this since Friday evening.
We’ve tried it from different accounts.
Hello Everyone, please be aware that you MUST be a member of the Island Creator Program to publish maps at the moment. Thanks.
I’m already doing it・・・
Its says i’m not eligible but I meet the eligible time constraints of 90 days and 21 days. How can we check the days on our account that epic reflects?
The status of UCB-1025 incident has been moved from ‘Awaiting Validation’ to ‘Needs Triage’.
I edited in fortnite creative and UEFN at least 7 days the last 30 days but still cannot upload my map. Is there any chance to see how many days are left or can somebody help me with this issue?
Thanks
