Cannot publish islands from the creator portal (CRITICAL)

Hi everyone.
Just wanted to update on this to say it was a temporary bug with my situation of not being able to publish.
It seems others issues go far deeper and I hope you get the answers you need!

I just checked and everything is as it was: The image doesn’t get uploaded and I get the same error while trying to publish.

Is it still happening to most of you?

Same for me.

Same here

It is related to the image upload. When you try to submit, you can get the console log from your browser (F12 to open the console log) : Error submitting to discovery Error: xhr failure: errors.com.epicgames.creator-portal-backend.invalid_csrf_token
Invalid or missing CSRF token

Error for the POST (image upload) is 403 forbidden.

It seems there are also lots of error related to a too large cookie EPIC-SESSION_CP.

Someone on this forum say this error is random if you try to clear your browser cache to initiate a new authentication to retrieve a new cookie. But if your cookie is always a large cookie at EPIC authentification, the problem is not random and still here after browser cleaning.

Maybe there is a way to enhance the browser feature to accept cookies larger than 4096 characters and solve this problem. But this should be solve at EPIC side I think.

Well… I just tried deleting all browser cache/cookies and still no good luck. It is still happening to me. At this point, I think we just need someone from Epic to say hi here so we know they are looking into it :frowning:

This is really frustrating. I spent the entire weekend making my world and I can’t publish due to unknown reasons. I’ve been trying for 3 days and still not usable. I’m giving up on UEFN now.

I looked into whats causing this and heres what i found under the issues tab of the f12 console:

"A page or script is accessing at least one of navigator.useAgent, navigator.appVersion, and navigator.platform. Starting in Chrome 101, the amount of information available in the User Agent string will be reduced.

To fix this issue, replace the usage of navigator.userAgent, navigator.appVersion, and navigator.platform with feature detection, prigressive enhancement, or migrate to navigator.userAgentData."

Its literally in the dev console. Why isnt this fixed yet?

Someone from epic has dm’d me saying what is my issue and i responded, They told me to send more details and the (F12 console menu on google chrome) so hopefully they can find the issue and tell me a work around… Until then Ill msg back here if I get given a response

I just tried with older version of Chrome and error is the same.

Now it says at the top the “Cookie problem” but i dont think that would be it… Also if you go into your own console you can find a PNG error and in this image it says in the blue box “Failed to identify affiliate privileges for project:” So this could mean we need to be a affiliate :frowning:

hurm so without being affiliated we can’t upload screenshots? lol

This definetly needs some clarification by Epic or bug fixing.

Yes

Got clarification from a staff member here. You need to be enrolled in the creator program to be able to publish

So until you qualify under the 21/90 rule you can’t publish?

No you need to be enrolled in the program to publish, from what i know

Well that’s not great lol

I think a lot of us just figured since we’re required to use the platform for the next few weeks to become eligible they would allow us to publish un-monetized content.

Do these boards have Mods or Admins? Would be nice to get an official answer one way or the other.

Well that is disappointing. An official answer and a less vague error in the creator website would be reassuring, sure.

Good luck everyone
