Same

Bump on this, same, but not even 50:50 atm, seems to timeout constantly

Same, I stop at Edit mode Push Changes to refresh

this is happening alot now after todays issues

I couldn’t add to the other post due to it being closed but this is annoying now even after so many tries eventually when you get into the session when you start the game after a little test if you end the game it crashes whole fortnite

Please see:

@Flak

and

I would like to add that error about pushing changes i reported the other day also still shows up

Update:

I clicked on Revision Control and accepted the settings again and everything is now working and it doesnt kick me but the push changes error is still showing

Whats the chances of this getting reproduced by the team at HQ ? Someone will have to travel to a more remote region with an inferior connection…

Anyone else still seeing this? Happened to me last night then was working fine this afternoon. Now I cannot log on test out the map again.

Nothing to do with my connection as I’m getting 900mbps download / 52 mbps Upload.

Has anyone found any solution for this please? I couldn’t enter my projects for the second day in a row now. It is quite frustrating.

not yet its taking ages :frowning: also when i get in it crashes but its abit random

HI ALL,
Just a query but has anyone tried a VPN connection, and another remoted to a server in another region.

Oh has anyone tried switching region in the FC island settings

Epic could VPN out to remote machine then test from remote client, if there network lets them

I disabled URC and got straight in  try that

No delay like fast

Does still crash the game when starting and ending the game but atleast im in the session

Further update

Its hit and miss but i think im getting in like 2/5 times using this method

:fu: try this - maybe it’ll help you too

I identified two main issues and potential solutions:

1.Corrupted Assets After Update: After updating, any assets you place or changes you make to your map may become corrupted. To address this, you can either revert to an earlier version of your project using revision control or, as I did in my case, delete the corrupted assets. Fortunately, I only had to remove a few item placers and assets.

  1. Memory Calculation Issue: On my case map’s memory usage exceeds 81k, attempting to calculate memory may result in being kicked out of the session. To resolve this, I slightly reduced the map’s memory usage, which allowed the calculation to proceed successfully. This adjustment enabled me to publish the map.

Additionally, I noticed several updates to my PC that might have contributed to these issues. These include updates from NVIDIA and Unreal Engine, specifically from version 5.5.0 to 5.5.1. Windows security was blocking Unreal Engine 5.5.1. Hope this Help you

double check your virus scanners although i cannot confirm it is the issue i check mine which is Avast and it was needing an update but also was blocking certain epic things.

After updating and trusting epic progs it launched and loaded without any issues constantly

I have no answer for the end game crash thing i assume its sending data to the epic server and was potentially being blocked by my firewall and thus crashing. Just a thought

I think when the update happened the virus scanner/firewall may not like something and blocked things and its why we thought it was the update which technically it is but when you start looking into things it turns out that was the first domino

Curious…

Are you all using the the new First Person Device?

Those are the maps I am working on at the moment and when the update happened this problem arose.

It fixes itself by restarting your computer but that is far from ideal.

Nope
