Can only get into session 50% of the time

hi we had this some time ago. Here is picture of Windows Defender Excluding/unblocking Fortnite

This comes from posts on the thread

Dont forget to verify the installation using Epic Launcher as Right Click → “Run As as Administrator” described in the above post

I think all my issues were from firewall settings as everything is normal again

I was missing to verify installation; editor is acting good so far thanks for the help. Highly appreciated

We just made a backend change that should address this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I’m sure i speak for everyone when i say thankyou to you and the whole team for this response

I’m unsure if mine was firewall or verify but if the verify is the cause could something be added to check for corruption and prompt the user to verify if they have the issue ?

Just a suggestion

It wasn’t an issue with installs, just something that happened or not semi randomly.

When you start FN it checks to see if any of your old sessions are active to rejoin - e.g if you quit a game or crash and want to rejoin. There was a bug where this check would sometimes interrupt the logic that sends you to the UEFN session.

Unsure if this is relevant or part of the same issue but worth showing you as it only costs me some time and i always believe you can never show enough information.

This shows up constantly now. I have reported it but yet to have a response.

This shows multiple times when you push changes

FORT-834632 is ‘Closed’ as ‘Fixed’. The issue will be addressed in 33.20.

I think it happens when you mix full and partial updates like verse push. You could log it as a separate issue, I’ll upvote.

Have you found a solution? I am getting time out about 95% of the time attempting to launch session.
