Yup, obviously not a priority. Been posting about this for over a year.
This would probably be a very quick fix for them, but if not, I can see why they don’t bother fixing it. They are obviously going to come out with an alternative to the billboard device. I would rather them work on new things then to fix stuff that has a very easy workaround.

What are you all using Billboards for? What alternatives do you have in mind?
I’m using billboards for onboarding & button labels.
Alternatives I’m thinking of doing:
- Onboarding: Popup device with custom widget
- Button Labels: Some type of texture or material. Haven’t assessed options yet.
Yes using a few Hud elements here and there, but i replaced my billboards with simply custom textures where having localization isn’t that important I guess. Everyone knows English already right?
