I archived a few maps to organize the project, but immediately deactivated them when I noticed that they were missing from the console as well.
However, no matter how long I wait, the maps do not appear in the console. I also checked the deleted islands, but they were not there either.
Could it be that maps that have never been published are deleted when they are archived, leaving only the project?
I would like to know if anyone else has had the same problem, or if anyone else knows what to do.
Hi! My name is comphie, I recently became an island creator and the same thing has happened to me! I archived an island thinking it would be able to be brought back and when I unarchived it to work on it again the map was non-existent in my creative portal. Really hope they fix this or get back to us ASAP.
I contacted EPIC and they responded immediately!
If you haven’t gotten your map back yet, please contact them right away.
I am sure they will take care of it!
I’m having the same issue and Epic support said they can’t help me with it.
I can still access it everywhere, including convert it to a UEFN project, but it’s impossible to edit it directly on Creative.
Still, converting it is not an option to me, since it would remove the ability for players to use their entire jam track inventory due to UEFN limitations
(UEFN project disables JAM LOOPS emote wheel)
Here’s what I got as a response:
"After carefully reviewing, I need to let you know that even though your Island is a published, non-UEFN Island, due to it being archived previously, we don’t have the ability to restore it for you at the moment. "
Careful to not archive any of your Creative 1.0 Islands!
