Workflow for building a room with a window

Hello, I have 2 questions about building an interior scene.

First one is about leaking light. I have modeled and textured a plane for every wall in my room but I get light leaking in the edges where they meet. I have checkt both the “use two sided lighting” in the lighting tab and “two sided” in the material. Should I not use planes as walls?

My other question is about indirect lighting, how do I set it up?

Here is many settings and you should select what you need, because this is important for game performance and quality. With standard settings you will have shadow leaks because settings (shadow and light).
