When will world partition support static light?
Hello @CreepChen! As of now it is not currently confirmed if the improvements to world partition’s ability to use static lighting will be making it into the release for 5.3. I’m monitoring world partition commits for this reason as well. If I receive any updated information in the meantime, I will let you know!

Understandable! There was a community member that was attempting to make the changes themselves but due to the complexity of both world partition and the light baking together unfortunately halted those ambitions. Hopefully the team can get it in the next release but I haven’t been following the developments on the repo to give an estimate.
In 5.3 roadmap I can not see this feature so disappointed @SupportiveEntity

has there been any news on this? Due to the performance gains of baked lighting, this is a must for mobile and vr to be possible. I remember how the borderlands devs said a mixture of baked with dynamic lighting was key for performance to visuals balance
