Why is character staying lit?

Hello! I am a bit of a newcomer when it comes to lighting, and I can’t find much documentation on an issue I am having. In a completely pitch black map, the character I am controlling is staying lit for some reason. When I jump off the platform he quickly fades into completely darkness though. There are no light sources and I’ve already changed the Environment Color to be black.

Anyone have experience with this? Am I overlooking a setting that dynamically lights the character?

I solved my own question! For anyone curious, click on your static mesh from the blueprint. I then did a search in the Details pane for “light”. In the drop-down box for “Indirect Lighting Cache Quality”, choose ILCQ Off. Good luck!
