I have created a very basic volume material for a scene in Unreal Engine 5.3, and I don’t understand why the shadows projected on it look so bad.
My scalability settings on the picture are set at Cinematic, and VolumetricFog.GridPixelSize is set at 2. I’ve also tried reducing the size of the fog object and it still doesn’t work. I want to eventually animate the fog but when I try it it’s even worse.
I have tried using different lights, a different scene, and even in the default fps scene the problem persist.
I don’t know if I’m missing a setting or something, if someone could help me I would be very grateful.
