After having recently started working on designing a basic battle royale for me and friends, and after enabling the HLOD and Streaming features of UEFN, objects, textures, and whole buildings have started randomly moving around, with no way to undo or easily move back to the original space. This has caused me to not be able to continue working on my project, as anything I place will later appear elsewhere. Anything I could do?
@Crazybloglog Thank you for your report! Can you please re-post using the “New Issue” option on the Issues and Bug Reporting forums? Posts with this feature are connected directly into our development team so we can quickly get to them!
I don’t know if it will help with the random teleporting, but disabling it is way better for building stuff, it stops the pieces jumping about when your trying to move or rotate them.
Oh ok i will try. What i think the problem is, is that we have the rendering distance low so that we can build more without the space beeing not enough. And sometimes items that arent rendered, spawn in on the island that is rendered in this moment
I have been putting down a gridplane where I want it first then dropping the prefab onto that with a 128 grid snap.
To move it afterwards, there is a little glitch that resets it to the first place it was put down, which I think if you select one of the actors in the prefab after the move, bypasses the glitch, selecting something outside the prefab first causes it to reset to its initial position or just its Z initial position.
