Why are LightMaps causing blurry shadows?

Hello!!! Sorry for my English) I have problem with shadows. All two objects have light map res 1024 but shadows still strange. It’s build in high quality. And they have 2nd UV channel. Plz help.

About shadows on the ground and berth. On all my scene same shadows.

Lightmaps dictate how much of a detail in light info a brush.model will have. With brushes small lightmap values are more sharp. And with models higher values are sharper.

Can you post an image of the mesh UV channel of lightmaps?

Some things to try:

  • Make sure that the static mesh properties are set to the correct UV channel
  • space out your UVs, including each plank face (connected faces causes lightmap bleeding)
  • make sure UVs are not overlapping

Try separating faces that are at 90 degree angles and space them out evenly.

If you are using Maya, make sure the normals are facing the right way by turning off ‘two sided lighting’ in the viewport
