I am trying to use a fire particle in a scene. When I look at the particle or get to close in both camera preview and when I have the view set to lit the lights fade out. Once I look away the normal scene lighting returns. Not sure what from the fire particle is causing the scene lighting to disappear .
Sounds like your problem is auto-exposure. Go into your post process volume, search for auto exposure and set the min and max brightness both to 1. Additionally, you can also set the “exposure” under the view modes dropdown in your viewport to “fixed at log 0,” but this will only fix your auto exposure in the editor, not in the game.
I tried this and the fire particle is still affecting the level lighting but only when I am within a certain distance of the paticle
