As shown in the pictures as I get closer the mesh becomes darker but the surprising part is that I didn’t have this problem before scaling down the mesh and even now if I scale it up things get fixed
Hello!
Can you show us the node tree of the material?
it happens even if there is no material. I also realized things are okay in ue4. do you think any specific setting in eu5 causing this?
I also realized this problem with assets from Modular SciFi Season 1 Starter Bundle in unreal engine marketplace that is not compatible with eu5 but I’m curious what in eu5 makes some meshes incompatible with the engine
I just created a new ue5 project and things are fine, so it’s defiantly something in my project that caused this. Also, I converted my project from eu4 to eu5, so maybe that’s the problem.
Oh, then that must be the problem…
I don’t know the technical details but I have seen on several occasions users with problems updating from one version to another. In fact, for the same reason, when large developers usually work on a project, it is very rare for them to update their engine, because it is usually quite chaotic.
If possible, I recommend starting with a new project and starting from scratch, I know it’s painful but it’s the healthiest.
Although I admit that I would also like to know why so many errors happen. But surely it is due to code issues or strange incompatibilities with the engine itself.
I just realized in skylight mobility being set to moveable instead of stationary caused it. I had no idea that could cause a problem in ue5
