Is hardware raytracing enabled on your project?
Is it from every angle/distance?
Is it all particles or just the sim particles?
Does this occur on lower and higher scalability?

I am not sure if this will help you, but i think i had the same issue. I solved it by going into my project settings, then to Engine → Rendering and the to turn off “Enable Order Independent Transparency (Experimental)”

Chances are your material is using default lit volumetric translucency, and you’re feeding your color into the base color input pin of the material.
