I have been testing Ray Tracing VS Lumen on UE5.0.1. When using RT, I notice some trails or ghosting around some objects. Also noticed it on a different project before (with UE5 too). Oh, and it comes from a 4.27 project, where worked perfectly, and just migrated to UE5, to compare. What can it be?
Ok, I have noticed is a RT’s reflections issue. If you have them enabled, it will show that trail around objects under certain luminance or reflective conditions (it worked well on UE4). If you diable RT reflections with raster ones or qith Lumen ones, it won’t show those trails anymore.
