Is it more optimal to make a skeletal mesh, or have blueprint driven movement?
Skeletal mesh with anim sequences I would say. But it depends on what you are trying to achieve.

Sorry, I definitely should have been more clear in my first post.
It’s not a character. It’s for basic interactable stuff in the world, like buttons and levers.
If its just buttons and levers, timelines tend to be easy to work with and only run when you tell them to run
