What AWS instance types do Fortnite Servers use?

Hi there,

We have been doing some experiments with AWS Graviton servers (c7gs specifically) and we are getting some really promising results.

Since the price tag is much lower for ARM-based servers, we are excited about this.

What instance types does Fortnite use for its various modes in AWS in terms of Dedicated Servers? Does Epic run real game workloads on ARM, or what exact instance types?

Hi,

Fortnite servers run on a variety of x86-64 and aarch64 SKUs. Fortnite typically sees the best performance on Graviton 4, but what works best will depend on the specifics of each project.
