25 blocks…50 enemies…epic settings…rtx 3060

Hi Everyone, for the past couple months I was working on a personal project called “Last Eclipse” which I would like to share with all of you.

As I am mainly working as a developer, I wanted to try myself out from the Artistic side and create a project from start to finish while using the latest features from Unreal Engine 5, including Metahuman Creator, Nanite, Lumen, Niagara Fluids, VDBs and many more. Unfortunately I didn’t have access to an Iphone so I couldn’t use Metahuman Animator but I managed to create a decent animation with Nvidia Omniverse’s Audio to Face.

I learned a lot during the whole process and I hope I can improve it further in the future.
I hope you will have as much fun as I did with this short!

Looks great! Here’s a to-do list:

ToDo

EDIT: and I mean it’s pretty close to photo-real in the stills; truly good work.

The Escape

It took me a little over 5 hours to put this scene together

All the assets used to create this scene are available on my Artstation Store and a few of them on the Unreal Marketplace

That genuinely looks incredible. Even as a non-car person this completely blew me away. Brilliant work @TroyHayder

This “to-do” gave me whiplash from waves of nostalgia and frustration. I always struggled to complete it, mainly because of the Reverse 180. :smiling_face_with_tear:

Great work! I look forward to seeing it in action. Keep it up!

It was a fantastic scene; well done! My only gripe is that it wasn’t longer.
