Hey everyone, never shared anything on the community forum before BUT :

A month ago I had an intern with me at the studio (post-production in Paris). A
High school intern (to get some information about work life mostly) so only for ~5 days. I had been exploring UE for months at the time so we worked out some shots together, turned out to be a fun exploration so I wanted to share her work with you (with a little bit of my help). Here are some stills. Created using megascans & some free sketchfab assets in order to jump as fast as we could into UE !

We already registered the product on steam but we haven’t published the page yet, we are a team of only 3 people so we are preparing a kickstarter campaign.

There are 2 products we are working in parallel, in one we apply more effort than others depending on how the audience responds, one is Dokis World which is the video you just saw and the other is Neo Racer, an arcade racing game:

With the team we estimate that by October we will have a trailer to capture the audience and prepare a good campaign for Dokis World.

About Neo Racer it is still very immature and we have to work a lot more there, so it will have to wait more.

Just wanted to share a sneak peek of our Metroidvania concept! 🎮Currently working on character movement, jumps, attacks, and even wall sliding. The character is in 2D, while the world around them is a stunning 3D environment. What are your thoughts on this unique blend? Any ideas or suggestions for the next steps?

Wow, that race was really intense! I didn’t think those AI cars would let you win that at all. Neo Racer is looking like quite the competitive game. :racing_car: :checkered_flag:

The gameplay/visuals for Neo Racer also look excellent so far; this is a testament to how diligently everyone on the team is working and how committed to these projects your team is. You are all on it! Thank you for the link to your website; I will follow your team’s progress closely. :grin:

@miguelsotobaez Just came across this little teaser and I can say the same as Zezkaii. I would love to wishlist this and follow along with the development. These styles of game are certainly very easy to get hooked on and I can envision playing for hours.

Would there be possibility for cute robo companions a little further in?

Working on a performant and randomizing landscape system at a minimum of cost. Being able to use materials/textures to drive the landscape/heightmesh as well as collision is very nifty!
