Weird shadows. Looks like black smoke.

Hello, I have a problem and question.
I’m pretty new in UE. I created a room, with some windows. Everything is fine beside celling. Shadows on celling looks like black smoke. My camera behaves as if its eyes had to adjust to the light. Everything looks like the floor is shedding light on a black fog.

I have short video:

Sorry for my english. I tried to describe that the best i can.

formal welcome to the forum.

and… what you see is called global illumination. this is lumen trying to illuminate the ceiling. the “eye” adjustment can be controlled via a post processing volume. there is an option called autoexposure. you should set the min and max brightness to 1. if it uses ev100 you set both to 1 or 0 (what you prefer).

the noise is a result of the windows being rather small. that’s not alot of light information for lumen to spread it. so the result may be a lil unstable. to prevent instability you could add some rect lights to the windows to help boost the light. you basicly fake entering ambient light for the sake of lumen stability.

I tweak with some settings, and used pretty big rectangle light. It works pretty well  Thank you very much!
