Weird Shadow

Hi there, This strange shadow occasionally appears on our map. There doesn’t appear to be any regularity to it, and it tends to clear itself eventually to. It’s most prominent over the water in this pic but it has an effect on landscape and meshes too.

I have checked all the light and reflection sources and can’t find any materials tied to them. I am fairly new to UE4 so I may have missed something obvious. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Are you referring to the voxel-shaped, or block shaped shadows around the peninsulas and over areas on the left side of the map?

I see a volume around the map scene. Is it a Lightmass Importance Volume, or a Light Propagation Volume, or Post Process Volume? I had issues with PPV and LPV, so I could help, but I need a bit more info. Can you post the main settings for that volume? If it’s a Post Process, then simply the basic settings (Priority, Radius, Weight, etc), not all the different ones. If it’s an Importance Volume, don’t bother posting, but it could be in the World Settings where it is necessary to check / test what is causing it.

Try turning off mesh distance fields ( do you have that on?.. )
