Weird pixelated effect on textures. World settings / project settings probable cause, but unclear how / what?

Hi,

I have a very weird low-res pixelated effect on my textures, but I don’t know what is has caused and how to get rid of it. It appears on ALL my different maps, so I suspect it is cause due to a setting in my world-settings or project rendering settings. However I have been messing around with all kind of settings like LOD, Lumen and I don’t know what. But whatever I change, I am not able to get rid of it.

I do notice that it seems to have something to do with shadows, so I even disabled all shadow related settings in the project settings. However nothing changed.

Here you see the pixelated at the back wall:

Here you see the pixelation when a little zoomed:

Here you see it fully zoomed:

These are my shadow related settings in the project:

I did notice that when I disabled the sky-light, these pixels are gone:

However I don’t know which setting in the skylight would cause this, and obviously I do need a skylight in my scene to be able to light my world. Btw, I was playing with the settings of the skylight, but I didn’t get the result I needed to fix this. So any pointers, thoughts or tips are appreciated here.

hey, did you figure it out?
I’m having the same issue and no ideia what has happened. In my case it doesnt come from skylight or even lumen. Did some tests, including importing my content to a new project and my level always have thoose pixels like screendoor effect.

This is with lumen off, reflections off, no atmosphere and no skylight:

Normal scene I can only see that pixelated effect but with all that off I can also see those whithe dots that are sparkling.
ps: My engine rendering configuration are the opposite as yours

Did you solve it?
