@Chosker, thats unfortunately correct it seems 
it works okay for shorter distances.
Here’s a new variation of the DF foam I posted previously. It’s certainly far from perfect but at least its dynamic and tweakable in many ways.
I’d love to see other solutions to this since I’m pretty bad at this stuff and I’m sure a lot of people here could do this more efficiently and better.
