Vive controllers only work once in 5.1

Hello, odd bug showing up after upgrading to 5.1.

I have a VR game with a 3d widget and widget interaction on Vive motion controllers. The game also has a non-vr mode with widget interaction on the mouse.

I built the original version in 4.27. All worked normally. Widget worked fine, both with motion controller triggers and with the mouse.

After upgrading to 5.1, mouse works fine in non-vr mode. However, motion controllers can only click on a widget button once. After one click they stop working, it’s almost as if the game loses focus. If I use the mouse to click on the screen (while still in VR), I can then click a second time - but the same thing happens again.

I set up print string on trigger pull, and it registers clicks up until I click on a widget button. After that trigger pulls are no longer registered.

I’ve tried changing the input mappings to the new enhanced mapping for 5.1, but no change in behavior.

Anybody have any ideas?
