I’m making a interior level and it has a corridor that has small light insets. I have a plane with an emissive material but it does not light the wall at all. Is there anything that can be done to get it to emit light or do I need to add lots of point lights in there or something?
If you are using static lighting a better solution would be to enable Use Emissive for Static Lighting in the mesh’s Details panel > Lightmass Settings.
I tried that already before but it didn’t work. This was the only way I got it to work.
