[URGENT] Island passing "MATCHMAKING ERROR #1" when trying to queue.

Summary

My island, which was converted from 1.0 back when UEFN released, is passing this error occasionally when trying to queue in. Some days, I cannot queue in at all, as it consistently gives this error. I’ve had this issue on two islands before, one of which an island converted from 1.0, and another just a 1.0 island ( Two islands passing "Matchmaking Error #1 (player.queueing_failure.208)" when attempting to play them.)

This is urgent, as I’ve been working on a MASSIVE complete overhaul this year, and it will be releasing next Friday - and I do not want to risk the game being DOA. I have tried getting answers to this in the past, but nobody was able to figure out the cause.

What Type of Bug are you experiencing?

Matchmaking

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Enter this island code: 8025-5133-5479
  2. Attempt to queue in (I usually try on NA-East)

Expected Result

You should enter the Island with no issues.

Observed Result

You cannot enter the Island, as it quickly passes “MATCHMAKING ERROR (#1)”. Sometimes it will ONLY pass this error. Occasionally it also says “(player.queueing_failure.208)” at the end of the message.

Platform(s)

PC, maybe other platforms. On the other Islands I had this issue with, it would also happen on an Xbox One S.

Additional Notes

This will also happen on private, un-published island codes for the island.

HI @Kiriousaurus

We are unable to reproduce this here, could you send us over your logs?

Hey Flak! Thanks for getting back with me!

It should have happened in either one of these two logs files:

FortniteGame-backup-2025.12.09-22.12.57.log (14.1 MB)

FortniteGame-backup-2025.12.09-21.26.54.log (17.8 MB)

And here’s one from last year where it happened as well:

FortniteGame.log (2.5 MB)

Thank you, Kiri!

The status of FORT-1033015 changed to ‘Needs Triage’. We’ve confirmed the issue and it’s waiting to be assigned to someone to fix it.
