Update 31.10 appears to have broken a lot of the functionality in my creative map

Summary

After the latest update, my fornite creative map is no longer functioning as designed. Playtesting on local session (i.e. not published) it all works fine, and prior to the update the published private version was also working fine. However since updated 31.10 the map is displaying multiple issues.

Steps to Reproduce

Play first match:

  1. Player will transition to from game lobby to team selection area. Upon selecting a team by stepping into teleporter, player will be assigned to a team and teleport to team base.
  2. Match is 3 rounds. When complete return to lobby

Play Second Match:

  1. When player transition from lobby to team selection area, player will fall through the floor of the world and will be teleported to the team selected in the last match, and is unable to select a different team from the lobby.

In addition to the above.
At the end of round 1, players are returned to the game lobby and should go through the game start countdown and then be teleported to the selected team base (based on their selection in round 1).
Multiple players were not teleported to the team base at the end of the countdown and had to manually select respawn.

Overall their is a negative impact on the perception of the game due to these issues, and we are looking to host a community tournament on this map with the tournament having to be delayed until this issue can be resolve.

Expected Result

On every match the player should be able to select a team from the team selection area.

Further to my original post, I have created a new map, and I am getting the exact same issues reported as for incident: FORT-788225

Entre folders are being reported as being missing, uncooked file warnings, HotFixManager Errors etc. So not only is my original creative map broken, I apparently cannot even work no a new map without the same errors occurring. I have verified installation, I have uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted derived data cache and so on… nothing helps. I would greatly appreciate any advice or guidances as it has already been 4 days without any response.

Looking at your errors the way to solve this is to verify the project and repair any damaged false anti-virus reports that have caused critical UEFN files to be isolated.

Now change the new directory of the restored project, Add an “s”,
So its name is “Projectnames” or anything you like

now go into the new directory name
rename ProjectName.uefnproject to ProjectNameS.uefnproject

Go into verified UEFN and Browse for the project in “Projectnames” and the file ProjectNameS.uefnproject.
Create a new UFEN project and this should work because this will create a new project on the content server.

I had already verified my installation, but have following your suggestion and added the necessary exceptions, re-verified … no change. UEFN Content Services shows nothing broken , the only thing I have not done is the back up and restore. As I mentioned this issue only started following the latest update…

Well tested the island in Fortnite works ok no significant errors.

Did the private publish of the newly restored/ created project give a new island number
because the one given above works fine Checked FortniteGame.log and all looks ok

Looking at your log you have timeout from the remote content server connections.

You are probably right something had happened in 31.10, but there is nothing to indicate what the problem is

Thanks for trying to help, did you try the map once or twice. If you selected your team the first time you try the map, for some reason when you try a second time upon moving to the team selection area you will fall through the floor of the terrain before spawning back at the team base you selected in the first match

As far as map number it remains the same with each update.

Do you have players change teams to an extra team on moving to the team selection area ?
Or a barrier that isn’t disabling in time for second round ?

Also, sometime last year, the terrain on two of my maps failed, the second one was a modified duplicate of the first
At maybe 6400 distance in any direction from the origin, players would fall through the landscape.
Made an entirely new landscape to fix, major payne.
I think it was after an update.

I run a verse script that picks up everyone prior to round 1 and assigns them to Team 4, the players are then teleported to the team selection area where they choose their team (using team selector), upon selecting the team they are teleported to the team base for their chosen team.

prior to round 2 and 3 another script is run to collect all players and teleport them directly to their chosen team base. Prior to the 31.10 update all was working well, also testing on local machine works fine. Now if you play the map once, it mostly works, but when you play the map the second time you will fall through the world before being able to select a team and it will teleport you to the team you chose on the first time you played.

My terrain is flat…so I will try redo the terrain and see if it helps. Thanks for the tip
