Unreal Engine 4, Material Ticking

I want to know how tick/fps is use in material and is there a way to set the tick configuration?

Materials and blueprints are totally separate things. There is not concept of tick in a material.

how about when we trying use panner or time, I see material like running in tick and have last effect on math and render?
