Unreal Controle Revision does not work on Visual ! Verse Extension

image

Hello, when I launch Visual to code Verse, this error message appears.
Because of this, I don’t have the coding help: error underlining, link to documentation, etc.

When I click on the gear, this leads me to the VERSE extension.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks a lot!

You have something in your code causing a crash :person_shrugging:

Does it also do that on your other projects ?

yeah on every project and it’s not about the code I think

Can you be sure of it ?

This shouldn’t be an issue

hi @Recturyon ,
You have the same problem as in the post
urc.exe and urc.dll get flagged as Malware from Microsoft Defender

You will have to add an exception to your anti virus checker and then “Verify” UEFN in the post above then you will need the go into Visual Studio Code Settings (bottom left) and update the VS Code to latest version.

Check that your network is running in Task Manager.
If you cannot “Verify” it is because of Anti Virus or you network connection Firewall like (Zone Manager)

There are several bug reports but Epic cannot control Anti Virus etc on you machine
Thanks
