IS-INFO-DSTCVPAT error appears when trying to update a game - Epic Games Store Support
This my description of why this occurred
Just installed UEFN on Windows 11 it crashed.
Refused to log on with credentials failed,
Compiled Global Shaders failed
unable to create many files
hangs at 95%
Windows 11 has enhanced security to stop files being downloaded etc…
Shutdown the UEFN 29.10 and onward
The answer would appear to be to click “Run in Administrator”
open Windows File Explorer at
C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Fortnite\FortniteGame\Binaries\Win64
Everything now installs and runs correctly because all Windows 11 security is bypassed.
Once installed you can use the normal start-up procedure.
