Unknown Fortnite Asset taking 25k memory

Summary

When running a memory calculation, I am 17k over memory. When I go to the Memory Test Results in the message log, there is a Fortnite Asset at the very top taking 25k memory with no “browse to asset” button.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Run a memory calculation
  2. Navigate to the Memory Test Results in the message log
  3. Observe the unknown fortnite asset taking 25k memory, with no link to browse to asset

Expected Result

There should be a link where browse to asset selects the asset in the level taking up the memory.

Observed Result

There is no browse to asset button

This started occurring ever since the latest memory updates.

I have a similar issue showing incorrect memory after the latest Fortnite update : Memory calculation reporting incorrect total memory in UEFN after Update

Bump. We really need this fixed ASAP as it is blocking our map release.

Did you enable Scene Graph by any chance? Enabling it cost my map about 20k in memory. Disabling it released that same amount.

No, Scene Graph was not enabled for this memory calculation.

Having the same issue as well as memory calculation taking an hour on maps where it used to take 10 minutes

FORT-1007834 is ‘Closed’ as ‘Fixed’. The issue will be addressed in 39.10.
