Hi I’m having issues getting rewarded video ads (ad colony, on ios) to show up in my project while using the plugin.

I’m running a packaged (dev) build, everything builds and runs fine on the device, but when I try to get a rewarded video to display, the blueprint function: “universal mobile ads Has Rewarded Video” always returns false.

As a note, I’m using: “Universal Mobile ads load rewarded video” on begin play, then some time later during game play I check to see " …has rewarded video" which is always false.
I’ve double checked the Ad unit Ids multiple times and they are 100% accurate to what’s in MoPub.

Any ideas what could possibly be incorrect or missing?
Any kind of support would be greatly appreciated, I’m loving what you guys have provided in this plugin!

It works but opens on full screen not in VR mode splitted to 2 eyes… So this is not expected behavior :frowning:

That does not sound very good. Would it be possible to post a screenshot for banner and video ads with GoogleVR plugin enabled?
If Epic gets stereo rendering toggle to work with Google VR and display banner ad where stereo rendering is not in use, that would be great!

I hope that can happen.

The problem is ad not uses renderer provided by Epic because it opens new activity separated from GameActivity. It will only works when ad providers make VR mode for their ads so we should wait because I think it’s on horizon.

I’ve contacted support a couple of times in the last months (to help me out with the UE updates) and he was always very fast replying and helpful. Right now the plugin is working great for me.

Have you thought about selling them individually? It appears to be a nice plugin, however I am only interested in 1 aspect of it so I can’t justify spending 100$ for only wanting 1 piece of it.

I’m interested in the unityAds plugin. I started looking into building it myself but if I can save the time I would rather take that route.

Unfortunately I can’t separate ad networks because ad mediation is the biggest feature of this plugin… I don’t sell SDKs but IMPLEMENTATION of ad networks mediation system.

Thanks for the reply, per our private message I’ll just be building my own plugin for this. This is a great plugin for people who want to use multiple ad networks.

I was struggling with the plugin in the beginning and my application kept crashing but due to professional and fast support I managed to make it work. Now all the ads I’m using are running and working very smoothly. :cool:

Universal Mobile Ads Plugin 1.5 for UE 4.13 final release!

I’ve just released plugin binaries for Unreal Engine 4.13
You can download it from GitHub repository on releases tab or your Sellfy dashboard (for Sellfy customers). Update also was submitted for UE4 Marketplace but it needs to wait for approval.

Thanks to new AAR imports feature in UE 4.13 from now:

  • you don’t need to copy CopyToUE4Folder folder!
  • you don’t need to remove old Google Play Services libraries!

Plugin is currently in QA phase… I’m working on this every day (full-time) since the beginning of September… This is the biggest update of this plugin ever. I think I change 1.5.1 to 1.6 because of so many updates… Please keep your fingers crossed! :slight_smile:
